The short version
- Your audio never leaves your Mac. Stem separation and analysis run on your computer.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
- Purchases, accounts and licences are handled by Moonbase, our reseller, under Moonbase’s privacy policy (opens in a new window).
Your account and purchases
When you create an account or buy, Moonbase processes your name, email address, password, order and payment details, and your licences. We can see your name, email, purchases, licences and activated devices so we can support you. Payment card details stay with Moonbase and its payment providers; we never see them.
Activating the plugins
When you activate Soompler or Stooms, the plugin sends Moonbase your licence and an identifier and name for your computer. That lets you manage seats under Devices. The plugins send no analytics or usage data, and never your audio or projects.
Emails
We email you about your account, purchases and licences when needed. Product news is only sent if you opt in, and every email lets you unsubscribe. If a free trial ever includes our newsletter, we’ll tell you before you start it.
What this website stores in your browser
No cookies. The account pages keep a few items in your browser’s storage so they work:
- Your sign-in session, in this tab only. It is cleared when you sign out or close the tab.
- A pending plugin activation, for up to one hour, so it survives confirming your email.
- Small markers that stop the same activation or offline licence being submitted twice.
- Which plugin you chose to download, for up to one hour, so you land on the right download after confirming your email.
- Your chosen currency on the pricing section.
Hosting
This website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes visitors’ IP addresses briefly to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it’s used. Email hello@audionoodle.com; for purchase and payment data you can also contact Moonbase at privacy@moonbase.sh. You can also complain to the data-protection authority in your country.
